Deliberation on the Special Environmental Study and Management Plans proposals for the Natura 2000 Sites of Central and Eastern Crete on 24 January 2022.

In the framework of the project “Preparation of Special Environmental Studies (SES) and Management Plans (MP) for the Natura 2000 Sites of the regional units of Rethymno, Heraklion and Lassithi Crete”, the hybrid day – presentation / briefing consultation was held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.

The event was organized by OIKOM LTD, contractor of the study, with the members of the project work team in collaboration with MADE Consultants. The aim of the deliberation was to inform and record the opinion of local community in general, and stakeholders, regarding the results of SESs and MPs for 15 Special Areas of Conservation and 17 Special Protection Areas of the Natura 2000 network in Central and Eastern Crete.

The conference took place in a hybrid format, in compliance with the necessary sanitary measures to manage the current pandemic and was open to the public through its live broadcast from Facebook and YouTube.
