Visibility activities of the “Treatment for Hospitals” project
In the framework of the project “Treatment for Hospitals” with the acronym “T4H” which was co-funded by the Interreg V-A Cooperation Programme “Greece-Cyprus 2014-2020”, MADE Consultants undertook the support of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Heraklion (DEYAH), on the visibility activities.
The project’s main objective was to determine if and how the removal of selected Contaminants of Emerging Concerns (CECs) can be achieved through the on-site treatment of hospital wastewater before their discharge to the central sewage wastewater system. A combination of innovative ecological processing technologies on a pilot-scale will be used, showing high performance in the respective experimental tests.
The partnership of the project consisted of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Heraklion – DEYAH (Main Beneficiary), the Larnaca Drainage Board, the Hellenic Mediterranean University, the Water and Air Quality Laboratory of the University of the Aegean and the International Water Research Centre “Nereus” of the University of Cyprus.
MADE Consultants’ support services to the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Heraklion (DEYAH) included the development of the project’s informative website, the production of information material for the definition of a common communication identity for the project (logo, poster, information sign etc.) and for the implementation of publicity actions (brochure, information material etc.), as well as the organization of an informative workshop.
