Technical support for the implementation of training programs and certification of knowledge and skills of 190 beneficiaries.

MADE Consultants undertook the technical support of the Heraklion Hotels Union for the implementation of the Project “Training and Certification of employees in Crete for their participation in structural changes of the economy RIS3Crete”.

As part of the Project, 190 beneficiaries will have the opportunity to participate in one of the following training programs:

• Reservation Clerk (specialized subject)
• Catering executive – Management of catering units (specialized subject)
• Tourist office employee (specialized subject)
• Receptionist – Hotel customer service (specialized subject)
• Electronic commerce systems specialist (e-commerce)

The beneficiaries will be examined for the certification of knowledge and skills according to the international standard 17024 or EOPPEP after completing 200 hours of training. If necessary, there will be a review.

The training programs can be carried out either with the blended learning method, combining live teaching with modern and asynchronous distance learning activities, or with the remote training method, where modern distance learning is 70% of the hours of each program, or with the conventional method of (face to face) training. The educational method depends on the beneficiaries’ characteristics (age, working hours, etc.) and will be chosen by the Contractor of the Project before the start of each training program.
