Technical support to the Heraklion Hotels Union for the implementation of the project “Training and certification of knowledge and skills in areas of RIS3Crete”

MADE Consultants, in the framework of Subproject 3: “Technical Consultant to support the implementation of the Act” with code MIS 5114194, undertook the support of the Heraklion Hotels Union for the implementation of the act “Training and certification of knowledge and skills in areas of RIS3Crete” which is included in the Operational Programme “Crete 2014-2020”.

The object of the act was the provision of training and certification services to 190 private sector employees of all productive sectors of the economy and self-employed persons with headquarters or branches in the Region of Crete, for the acquisition of new knowledge, skills and competences (according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17024) that will substantially enhance their employability, the prospect of improving their employment conditions and their professional mobility in order to ensure the best possible working conditions and the adaptation of their working environment.

Among the actions implemented by MADE Consultants were the maturation of the tender for Subproject 1 (preparation of the recommendations to the members of Heraklion Hotels Union regarding the approval of the expenditure requests, the terms of the tender notice and the tendering process, the registration of the Heraklion Hotels Union in the national public procurement system and the posting of the tender notice, the publication of the notice in the local press, etc.), the modification of the technical data sheet of the project, the support in the conduct of tender procedures & publication of calls for tender, the creation of a platform to support beneficiary applications, the provision of guidance and advice to the contracting authority in order to ensure the proper implementation of training programmes, the coordination of procedures for the issuance of documents for the provision of services for the payment of training allowances, the verification of the legality of the contracts of sub-projects 3 and 4, etc.
